On October 13th, 2022, Lake88 held their annual Radiothon in support of local hospitals and health centres.
This year all funds raised for the PSFDH Foundation during the Radiothon were used to purchase 8 in- patient bed & mattresses for a total cost of $96,000!
We are so grateful for the support of our wonderful community members, the team at Lake88 and all of the volunteers who made this year’s Radiothon a huge success!
Local Service Clubs Help Keep Care Close to Home
The Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation is incredibly thankful to have such great service clubs in our area.
These service clubs and their generous donations help keep care close to home for our community!
After the Radiothon, the Lanark & District Civitan Club asked if we had met our $96,000 goal to purchase eight beds and mattresses for both sites of the PSFDH.
We had almost reached our goal; however, we were short by $10,950.
We were thrilled when the club approached us and offered to cover the difference, making a total donation to the radiothon of $15,950 to this year’s Lake88 Radiothon!
