We were thrilled to receive a special gift of gratitude made in recognition of Rosemary H., who works in the Emergency Department.
This thoughtful gift celebrates Rosemary’s kindness, compassion, exceptional skill, and the meaningful impact she has on patients and families during some of their most difficult moments.
Acts of care like hers do not go unnoticed, and this tribute is a heartfelt reflection of the trust, comfort, and gratitude she inspires every day through her dedication and professionalism.
About our Gifts of Gratitude program: Whether it’s a doctor, nurse, support staff, or volunteer, each day the team at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital provides compassionate care close to home.
Giving in their honour is a special way to say, “thank you”. Recipients will receive a newly designed pin to proudly wear and a personalized message letting them know how their hard work and dedication didn’t go unnoticed. The amount of your gift will be kept confidential.

The Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation is looking for community-minded leaders to join our Board of Directors and help keep care close to home.
As the fundraising partner of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, we support vital equipment, technology, and services so patients can receive excellent care right here in our community
✨ You might be a great fit if you:
· Have experience in finance, law, healthcare, business, and/or community leadership
· Can commit about 5–7 hours per month
· Care deeply about patient-centred care and giving back locally
As a Board member, you’ll help guide strategy, support fundraising, and strengthen the future of local health care.
