Lloyd and his late wife, Cathy (a former nurse), spent many years working in Smiths Falls. They loved the town and the people, and their experience here left a lasting impression.
In the fall of 1993, Cathy suffered a fall that required vertebrae surgery – resulting in numerous trips to Ottawa for MRI appointments. Those experiences reinforced to Lloyd just how important it is for our community to have access to advanced medical imaging close to home.
Wanting to make a difference and honour Cathy’s memory, Lloyd made a generous donation to support the PSFDH Foundation’s MRI Campaign. His gift will help ensure that patients and families in our region can access the care they need close to home – something he and Cathy understood the importance of firsthand.
